Warehouse Operative
Full time: 40 hours per week
A globally renowned supplier of machine tools is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team at their Burntwood site on a full time basis. This role would be ideal for either an experienced Warehouse Operative looking to gain new skills, or for a candidate at entry level with an interest in a future in engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to engineers in the workshop
- Assisting the preparation of machine tools for dispatch
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of containers
- Unboxing and repacking of machine tools
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Training in the preparation of machine tools before delivery
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential. You will be provided with training and opportunities to learn skills such as machine repairs, and progress within the engineering team. If you are at entry level looking to begin your career and keen to learn new skills, we would still love to hear from you!
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience driving a forklift truck
