Full-Time: 10am - 6pm, Mon-Friday/ Renumeration: £23.920 per annum (QUALIFIED ONLY)
Part-Time: 8am - 12pm, Mon-Fri/Alternate weekends: 12pm – 4pm/ Renumeration: £14.352 per annum (QUALIFIED ONLY)

Youth Support Worker - Wolverhampton
Are you an experienced support worker who loves to champion the independent spirit of young people? Do you love to see the progress made when a vulnerable young person gains valuable life and social skills? Do you like the sound of preparing a young person to live independently on turning 18 years old?
Eclipse Properties, provides supported tenancies for young people of 16-18 years of age and is seeking Youth Support Workers to join their team. Due to the nature of the role, personal care and hygiene routines will be required and all applicants must have an up to date Enhanced DBS. The role is based in various locations in and around Wolverhampton and you will involve managing a case load of at least 10 young people. There is a competitive rate of £23.920 Per Annum (pro-rata for part-time) (QUALIFIED ONLY). There is also a pension scheme and a company laptop and mobile phone will be provided. A company vehicle is also available and candidates must have a full, clean, UK driving licence and be able to drive a manual car. Training for higher qualifications is also supported after the first 12 months of employment.
Please only apply if you possess:
• NVQ (QCF) Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care
• Minimum of 12 months experience working with vulnerable young people
• A current DBS check (company will apply for chosen candidate)
• Full clean, UK driving license. Have been driving for two years and can drive a manual car.
• IT literacy – MS Office
• Excellent communication, organisation and report writing skills
• A flexible, empathic and supportive attitude
• The ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously
• Previous experience and training in safe-guarding, child protection and risk assessments are beneficial.
