Part time, 20 hours per week. Ideally 10am - 2pm Monday-Friday (this is negotiable) £14,000 salary per annum

We are looking to recruit a new Technical Manager to join our team in Shrewsbury. We are a frozen food manufacturer and broker of meat, poultry, vegan and bakery food types. This role is not factory based, it is office based, 2 miles outside of Shrewsbury at The Oxon Business Park

Our new Technical Manager would ideally have BRC GS Version V8 experience, would ideally have 'HACCP and Food Safety Level 4' and would be responsible for:

Maintaining and managing accreditations including BRC.

Leading internal and external audits

Maintaining product specifications and compliance

Overseeing product complaints, with help from another part time member of staff who would manage complaints. 

 Maintaining a product data system (Erudus)

 Although the ideal candidate would have experience of the technical aspects of food manufacturing, we would consider a candidate with technical experience outside of food or someone who has a track record of working with attention to detail and is willing to learn the role. 

This role would report to the Operations Director and would have the man management of one part time member of staff, although this point is negotiable.
