Support Workers to work a mixture of day and night shifts, including weekends on a rota system.

Job overview - As a Support Worker you will, under the direction and leadership of the nursing staff, provide high quality care to a clearly defined group of patients / residents, relatives and carers. You will act as a role model for patients and be actively involved in engaging patients with daily activities, education, behavioural support programmes and leisure/recreational activities as outlined in individual care plans
Main duties of the job - You will be working directly supporting our patients in their daily lives and will be involved in all aspects of providing high standards of care, so we are looking for candidates who possess a desire to make a difference to peoples lives, with a caring and understanding attitude. No previous caring experience is necessary; a full and comprehensive induction programme, equipping you with the key skills required will be provided.
Overview of your organisation - At Eldertree Lodge we provide specialist short term high dependency support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and challenging behaviour including offending behaviour. Our site is split into six wards each comprising of six bedrooms.
Our aim is to help patients move into the community as soon as possible and to improve each patient’s longer term outcome. This is achieved by proving a high quality safe and secure environment that encourages the development of skills and competencies
