Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join 'The Sunday Times Independent Prep School of the Year 2020' and to work within the structure of a school whose vision is to provide an exceptional education for girls aged two years to eleven years and boys aged two years to seven years. We are looking for a kind, caring, energetic, fun, knowledgeable and innovative Early Years teacher who is a team player who thrives on collaborating with colleagues to inspire our young learners. Candidates must have recent experience working as a Reception Teacher.

Candidates should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners. 

The candidate must:

• Have a passion for Early Years education, 

• Be able to communicate clearly, respectfully and appropriately to pupils, parents and colleagues

• Have good collaborative team working skills.

• Have excellent skills in the teaching of phonics and reading

• Play a valuable part in a school's broader life and commit to developing its extra-curricular programme. 

We offer:

The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The maximum salary this post attracts will not exceed the equivalent of the Teachers' Pay Scale M6. This will be a fixed-term, one-year contract in the first instance. 

Candidates must be available from Monday, 19th February 2024 to commence employment.
