Office Administrator

Do you have administration experience, with good attention to detail and are looking for part time work?

Our client is a professional engineering institution for scientists and engineers working across the diverse field of acoustics. They are seeking an experienced part-time administrator for its office in Central Milton Keynes. The hours are 10.30- 2.30 with a half hour lunch break Monday – Friday.

The role involves general office administration. Typical duties include stationary orders, ordering and laying out catering for meetings, answering phones, maintenance of committee lists, processing bursary applications and updating associated pages on our website.

The role is perfect for a confident communicator able to work with minimal supervision who is confident using Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator with experience working in a customer-facing, service role.

We are a small friendly team with a flexible approach to our work. We’re looking for a colleague who will be similarly flexible. A positive attitude to learning new skills is essential, as we need our staff to cross-train so we can cover for each other to provide resilience.

The post is based in our office, which is located on Silbury Boulevard in central Milton Keynes, convenient for the railway station. Our team work in an open plan office, with quiet ‘focus’ areas available.
