Are you looking for an IT Network Manager position offering a high degree of autonomy in a hands-on management role?  If so, this will be an exciting opportunity to work in one of the leading boarding schools in the UK. This is an exciting time to join our already effective IT team to support and provide an outstanding IT services to our school community.  You will be at the forefront of decisions regarding the network infrastructure in liaison with the Director of IT Services. 

You will have a professional IT qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent.  You will bring a full complement of knowledge of IT and be able to demonstrate experience in the successful delivery of an IT network.  It is therefore essential that you are fully conversant with a client/server managed network switching architecture and Vlan topology together with experience of Vmware & Aruba technologies. 

You will have strong technical network experience and be conversant with the hardware and software likely to be used in a boarding school environment.

This is a full-time all year-round position and the successful person will be required to work flexibly.  There is a requirement to work during the weekends on a rota basis during term-time.
