Internal/External Communications Manager

This is an opportunity to execute internal and external communications, from corporate responsibility, through social media, PR, events and engagement.
You will be creative and dynamic with the confidence to plan and deliver a mixture of digital and traditional communications, forging strong relationships with stakeholders across the business - delivering updates from the SLT around an ever-changing lockdown to keep colleagues and customers aware, reassured and prepared.

Motivate teams across the UK with a weekly newsletter updating them on hitting sales targets, price changes, operational changes, and key messages.

Connect teams remotely with innovative new ways to deliver messages from the SLT like video - influence and improve the message and how it's delivered to keep teams together whilst working remotely across Head Office and sites.

Take ownership of the LinkedIn page - encouraging the team to share on social, creating and curating content that further boosts the brand and creates an online social community.

Work with relevant press both local and national to promote successes, identifying what's newsworthy and arranging interviews. Helping share and share stories that raise brand awareness.

Get creative with charity events - find ways to raise funds for important charity partners, that brings the teams together in fundraising and delivering thousands to the chosen charity.
You'll want to know what success looks like - whether that's raising thousands for charity, using analytics to track employee engagement scores, tracking click through rates for your newsletters, engagement on social media. Track what's engaging, continuously tweaking and learning.
In this role you'll drive initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning, producing communications for a variety of channels - intranet, social, press,internal publications and events.

Due to the location in Northamptonshire when lockdown lifts this role will be commutable within an hour from Northampton, Milton Keynes, Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Silverstone, Banbury, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, and surrounding areas
