Blackpool Sixth is an outstanding college specialising in 16-19 education, we have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our team. The position will play an important part in enhancing employee relations, administering HR procedures and championing health and wellbeing initiatives across the college. This role demands a versatile approach, as you will be involved in everything from management support and HR initiatives to employee relations, absence management, recruitment, HR admin and safeguarding, among other responsibilities.

Based in HR you will support the Head of HR with the day-to-day operation of the HR function; improving, streamlining and delivering a high-quality HR service. You will also be involved in specific HR and cross-college projects such as recruitment, absence management and staff health & wellbeing. With the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative, you will cope well under pressure and will be able to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations. This full-time, permanent, post is 36.25 hours per week over 5 days. There are exciting times ahead for the college as we anticipate becoming a member of The Coastal Collaborative Trust in the near future.
