Job Description

(Competitive salary, full-time, term time plus six weeks)

 The Futures Department provides an outstanding service to the pupils of Shrewsbury School of all ages with careers-related planning.

Through a Shrewsbury education, we aim to educate and empower each pupil to flourish in life and contribute positively to the world around them. Consequently, in line with the School’s strategic objectives, the Futures Department are looking to increase its expertise and to enhance the support pupils can access, with a focus on work-related activity.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who has significant proven experience in providing advice and guidance to young people.  The successful person will provide enhanced support to our pupils, ensuring all year groups are accessing support and guidance they need to make well-informed choices.

Ideally, the successful person will have experience of working in a similar position in an education setting.  Qualified to degree level and holding a careers qualification to underpin your relevant experience is desirable.  Flexibility is required as there may some evening and weekend working on occasions.
