Ecommerce Specialist | Telford, Shropshire | £25K - £35K | Permanent

The Ecommerce Specialist is an exciting role with a growing, well-established company based in Telford, Shropshire supporting the Sales & Marketing Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the company’s online marketing strategy including managing, maintaining and developing 2 websites for both of it’s brands as well as supporting the Customer Services team as a first point of contact for internet related customer queries.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing an effective online marketing strategy
  • Create, manage and optimise inventory listings for all online marketplaces including Magento 2 websites, Amazon and eBay
  • SEO work including site testing and audits to improve online performance Debbie Edmonds
  • Utilising Google Analytics reports and data to improve websites and understand customer trends and behaviour
  • Managing PPC campaigns to improve CPC and ROI
  • Analyse current business trends and propose ideas to increase traffic and sales
  • Competitor research and benchmarking
  • Delivering regular email newsletter and social media campaigns
  • Detailed reporting and analysis of online marketing initiatives
  • Continuously evaluate online metrics and provide recommendations for ways to leverage success, build from opportunity and continue to improve engagement across online channels
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

Skills and Experience

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple concurrent projects and possesses excellent organisational, project management and communication skills
  • Results-orientated with the ability to identify fresh, forward-thinking techniques to reach lead generation and revenue goals
  • Experience in digital marketing and ecommerce systems with a knowledge of data manipulation and technical background are necessary
  • Knowledge of Magento, Google Analytics and Adwords advantageous
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and analytical skills including the ability to measure the effectiveness of online marketing efforts and provide reports
  • Awareness of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
