The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Museum’s Development Team to assist with delivering the Museum’s Strategy 2030. The role will provide an excellent opportunity for an individual with the interest and aptitude to join a fast-paced team running events to support Museum programmes and helping to grow the Development Events portfolio to drive supporter engagement. Working closely with the Head of Development and wider Museum teams you will support special events, and exhibition openings as well as provide support to our mid-level giving program.
The successful candidate will have attention to detail, a supporter-orientated approach and be able to work with stakeholders and guests at all levels and will ideally be from a fundraising or events background.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Museum’s Development Team as they embark on delivering the Museum’s Strategy 2030 and deliver the RAF Museum Midlands Development Programme capital appeal and raise £27M to further develop our Midlands site while also supporting projects in London.
There is a requirement to work occasional weekends and evenings as necessary. Regular travel between sites will be required.
The post will be based at our London site.
