SFYFC County Organiser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-motivated County Organiser for Shropshire Young Farmers Clubs, based at the centrally located County Office at Shrewsbury Livestock Market.

Shropshire YFC is one of the largest county federations in the country, covering 18 clubs and supporting 600 members. In this role, you will be supporting clubs and county committees with their competitions, charity work and social programmes. Key requirements for the role are excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, along with the drive and enthusiasm to deliver against key targets. Your working hours will include occasional weekends and Thursday evenings.

Experience of working with volunteers and grant applications would be beneficial, along with a strong knowledge of safeguarding and Health and Safety to ensure the safety and well-being of our members aged between 10 to 28.

The role is full time with the opportunity for flexible working hours. A competitive salary is offered together with a statutory pension and travel expenses with 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays. A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business use is essential.
