CNC Machinist Nights  

About the Company  

Manufacturers and suppliers of components and assemblies for use within both industrial and analytical equipment.
A large portion of the products have a range of uses in the Pharmaceutical and food safety sectors.

Duties of CNC Machinist

Setting and machining of components for use in assemblies built on site and/or delivered directly to the end users.
Working with a variety of Milling machines and VMC's
Inspect the finished components using a variety of inspection equipment and be able to identify solutions to ensure the best quality product. Training would be given on CMM systems.
Generate and edit simple component programs using Heidenhain. Not requirement for offline/CADCAM programming.
Able to select and recommend the correct tooling to achieve the most efficient machining method.
General housekeeping of machine and area of work.

Requirements of CNC Machinist

Must have a sound working knowledge of Heidenhain control systems for programming purposes.
Proven experience of working with fairly high tolerance components.
Proven experience of working with Milling/VMC machines.

Very competitive salary/hourly rate DOE; Night-shift includes 25% increase to base salary, after training period.
39 hours working week.
Hours of work 21:30pm - 7:45am Monday to Thursday.
All overtime paid at 1.5 x base rate.
