Pay rate: £30,672 - £31,294 per annum (based on 8 sleeps per month and an hourly rate of £12.00 - £12.30 per hour). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month -  shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.
 
Essential requirements for a  Children's Residential  Support Worker:
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
  • Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential

The role:

Our homes range from solo to 3 bedded homes offering crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care.   Our young people receive the highest quality residential care, as well as taking part in educational and recreational activities such as bowling, ice skating, visits to trampoline parks and cinema trips.
