An Established & expanding Laser Cutting & Fabrication manufacturing company we are now looking to add to our team.
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Using the latest CAD CAM software, you will create DXF files for all new parts, draft 2D (& future 3D) components from PDF’s / sketch / samples, toolpath and nest for the lasers obtaining best material utilisation and program stability.
Conversion of 3D files using Solid Works /Space Claim Designer (training given) Develop blanks for bend allowance, print drawing packs and works orders for shop floor. Maintain existing part and program library to ensure parts are always manufactured to the correct revision level.
Liaise with sales team and Production Team to prioritise jobs, capacity plan and update teams on workflow.
Assist sales team with nesting of products to attain costing information.
Work closely with purchasing to provide sub-contractors with the necessary files
Support Production in the manufacture of jigs and fixtures,
EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES
Minimum 2 years’ experience CAD/CAM Programming Lasers
Ability to work as part of a team, self-motivated with excellent communication skills at all levels, have a can-do problem-solving attitude, be flexible in your approach.
Must have your own transport and a full driving licence.
Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 (start & finish times are negotiable, reasonable amount of flexibility expected)
