Location: Elmwood (Stafford) and Maywood (Wombourne)
Salary: Scale 4 £20,702 - £23,073 p/a plus essential car users allowance
Hours: 36 Hours per Week- Permanent
The Wrekin Housing Group’s partnership between The Wrekin Housing Trust, Choices, Shropshire Housing Specialists, The Furniture Scheme, Reviive and Fuse, enables a focus on meeting and exceeding the needs and expectations of our wide range of customers.
We’re looking for an individual with building maintenance experience to provide a comprehensive support service to ensure the continued operation and maintenance of the Northfield Village site. This post will consist of handyman levels of property maintenance work to various buildings property compliance user checks, maintenance of boiler rooms and heating plant (including a biomass district heating network) and estate / grounds management activities. You will be working with Group members, customers (tenants), as well as external clients, stakeholders and service contractors.

What You Will Need:
The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, whilst working well as part of a team. You will also need to be flexible and able to work under pressure.
This position will require a minimum of 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English Language and Maths. You will also be required to hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for business use. The successful candidate will also be computer literate and have experience within the same role or similar.
The successful candidates must have relevant post qualification experience and be capable of undertaking a variety of trade activities, have a good understanding of construction, building services and property health and safety.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
