Permanent, part-time, term time only

 The Assistant Technician (Science) will contribute towards the aim of the School by providing practical support, equipment and materials for the Biology Faculty. 

 You will play an important role in a high-quality support to science teaching in the School.  You will assist the Science Technicians look after laboratory equipment in setting-up lesson, ensure the prep room is clean and tidy together with maintain stock and general administrative work. 

 Candidates must have good organisational and interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.  This is a busy Science Department therefore you must be able to work with the minimal of supervision as well as demonstrating both practical and pro-active skills. 

 This position would be an ideal role for someone looking to gaining experience as a Science Technician, we can provide first class training and the opportunity to develop your skills.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in education and working in a Science Department of a major independent school.  Some previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
