We are seeking to recruit a skilled Aerial & Satellite Engineer with a proven track record in installation and repairs of domestic aerial and satellite systems to join our established, professional team.
This position would suit a self-motivated individual seeking to develop their skills and career. We support continuous development amongst all our employees & so there may be opportunities to expand your abilities, with training in communal systems available for the right applicant.
As the role is field based, a full driving licence is essential. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
As a Company we have received awards for Service Excellence and so our ethos would suit a personable individual who is able to deliver excellent customer service along with having experience in dealing with the general public. To support this the preferred candidate will be required to undertake a successful DBS check. We are a CAI+ approved Company and rated excellent across all areas in our most recent CAI assessment.
The successful applicant will be expected to work 40 hours per week across five days, generally Monday – Friday, but with the requirement to work overtime or occasional weekends, if the work demands. You may be required to be “on call” for out of hours emergencies. Remuneration will be in line with our Company Grading System, dependent upon experience, skill levels and qualifications, within the range £20k - £26k p.a. Desirable qualifications include Safe Working at Heights, CAI Foundation Diploma in Signal Reception, NVQ2 Electrical & Electronic Servicing (Signal Reception) or similar; however, these are not essential and a proven track record in the field is the most important requirement. Holding A CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries) card would also be desirable but, again, this is not essential. The preferred candidate can expect 22 days Annual Leave plus statutory holidays.
