Advanced Craft Plumber
Salary - £27,491 per annum, plus an additional payment of £327.92, when standby is worked and an enhanced rate for working on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday.
Full Time/ Permanent – 36 hours per week, rota’d to cover Monday to Sunday 08.00am until 20.00pm.
Location: Within all properties maintained and managed by the Wrekin Housing Group, including but not limited to, Shropshire, Staffordshire and the Midlands.

We are looking for suitably qualified individuals who can demonstrate the ability to carry out a range of high quality Plumbing related, maintenance repairs, and installations, including bath and wet rooms, and a range of minor repairs and associated works outside of their area of expertise.
Key responsibilities will include assessing the work to be undertaken, ensuring it meets the agreed specification and where appropriate organise relevant materials for the work. You will also liaise with tenants and other customers whilst taking responsibility for completing the appropriate paperwork associated with the work being undertaken.
Although the majority of your work will be mainly plumbing based, you will need to have experience in other areas including, plastering, tiling, carpentry and general building maintenance.

What you will need:
Successful applicants will need to have a flexible approach to work and a can do attitude, to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
You will have, or be in the process of attaining a City and Guilds qualification in Plumbing, and have at least 3 years’ experience of maintaining domestic properties and working unsupervised as part of a team. A full UK Driving license Is Essential.
